Tamarack, Fla. ,
The resident, who asked not to identify, thought that the rain would be the only thing to come down on Sunday.
“It just fell in front of my eyes,” he said.
But she was wrong.
He said, “It suddenly dripped the water, and I look at the rooms, and then I see when the roof fell,” he said.
In an apartment building, a tenant’s woman said that she was resting, when suddenly, rain made a hole in her roof, causing a partial roof to collapse.
The resident said that the roof fell in front of his face and almost on him.
“I was there because I was ready to lie down, but when I see all the water, I turned back,” he said.
Thanks he did it.
“Of course, I shout,” he said.
Officials with Tamrak Fire Rescue said that it was not the collapse of the roof, but some water infiltration.
But the fall of rain and partial roof still put a sponge on everything.
“I was worried, and then I am by myself.
Thankfully, he called 911.
The tenant said that the pieces of its roof would take some time to re -collect, but physical things can be replaced.
“I don’t even know what is going to happen now, to be honest with you,” he said.
Fortunately, the American Red Cross is helping him until he can pick up the pieces at home.
