With a coordinated attempt between Patnam County School District, Putam County High School and Patnam County Sheriff Office, Sheriff Josh Boedgheimmer announced the creation of the Putanam County High School Act Law Enforcement Experience Internship program.
The internship was established in his final semester to provide opportunities for senior of Patnam County High School, who are interested in law enforcement or emergency communication to carry forward their knowledge and experience before entering a college or workforce.
In this internship, the student will be given an opportunity to experience and learn about traffic enforcement, accident investigation, service, booking and processing, and criminal checks.
The student will also be fully trained as 911 telecommunications, full state certificates and provided employment opportunities in the Putam County Sheriff Office as 911 telecommunications, while they continue with their higher education.
This year’s intern is Emma Henderson. He is a Patnam County High School Senior, who has chosen a career route in criminal justice. Henderson has planned to pursue its education in the region after high school.
